Frequently Asked Questions

How do I buy the right laminated composite panel for my business?

When you are in the market for a laminated composite panel, there are several important factors to consider:

  • What is your application? Whether heavy duty or light duty, this helps determine the core strength required so we can recommend the best laminated composite product type for you: plywood or honeycomb.
  • What is the thickness/size required? The thickness of the panel is determined by the strength needed for your application. A laminated composite panel expert for your industry can help you determine what thickness is the best fit for your needs. Common widths include: 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4″.
  • Do you require customization? One size does not fit all! Each project is unique to your industry and your business application. CNC routers allow laminated composite panel suppliers to customize your order by measuring, drilling, and cutting to your exact specifications.
  • What quantity do you estimate needing? Knowing the quantity and any additional details helps get a more accurate quote on the project.
  • What should you consider when selecting a vendor? It is important to partner with a laminated composite panel vendor that understands your industry, manufactures a quality product, and takes pride in delivering customer-focused solutions and on-time delivery that yield repeat customers.

Do I have to maintain laminated composite panels?

Although relatively easy to maintain, laminated composite panels should be cleaned to prevent premature fading and weathering. As with other fiberglass products, you should keep your panels clean and free of debris, and wax it at least once a year.

How will my laminated composite panels be shipped?

We offer delivery to customers located within our delivery area in the Midwest region. You may also opt to use your own freight provider. All shipments outside of the Tower Structural Laminating delivery area require use of an outside freight provider.

How do I select the right bit for cutting laminated composite panels?

Tower Structural Laminating can customize your laminated composite panels to your unique specifications, however, if you are planning to cut your own panels, we recommend using a carbide or a Polycrystalline diamond (PCD) bit as standard steel bits wear faster for this process.

Can I decal or paint my laminated composite panels?

Laminated composite panels are designed with a seamless, smooth surface that is excellent for graphics and branding applications.
